Food filling systems are critical to consistent packaging output, with multiple dosing options tailored to different materials. Common types include screw dosing, piston dosing and multi-head weighing for powder, paste/liquid and granule materials respectively.

Screw dosing works for fine powders like protein and meal replacement powder. Piston dosing handles high-viscosity products such as ketchup, salad dressing and honey. Multi-head weighing fits nuts, freeze-dried meat and grain granules. Separate mixing storage tanks are optional to maintain temperature, homogenize materials and supply feed continuously.
Filling heads can link with horizontal pre-made pouch machines or vertical form-fill-seal units, or work independently with filling & capping machines. Quick-disconnect pipe structures simplify cleaning and prevent cross-contamination between different materials.
