Modular Design of Flexible Packaging Equipment and Flexible Production Changeover Capacity for Multiple Food Categories

Flexible packaging equipment is general-purpose packaging machinery suited to the multi-batch, multi-specification and rapidly-updated production modes of modern food factories. Supported by modular combined structures, it realizes multi-purpose production and eases drawbacks of traditional equipment including single applicable product types and complicated production changeover.

The machine adopts split functional module design. Modules for bag forming, filling, sealing and conveying can be flexibly combined. It supports two production modes: roll film bag making and pre-made pouch packaging, and fits various pouch types such as flat pouches, stand-up pouches and regular special-shaped pouches. No large mechanical adjustments are needed for product switching. Specifications can be changed merely by adjusting parameters via the electric control system to cut downtime for commissioning.

The equipment is applicable to full ranges of food materials including powders, granules, liquids and pastes, covering condiments, snack foods, grain raw materials, pet food and other sectors. It can run as a standalone unit or be integrated into complete production lines. It fits renovation and upgrading of new and existing workshops and improves general adaptability of production lines.
