Special Packaging Lines for Salad Dressing Solve Various Production Difficulties for High-Viscosity Sauces

Date:Jul 20, 2026

Salad dressing is a high-viscosity emulsified sauce blended with oil and solid granular fragments. Conventional universal packaging equipment will generate common defects such as material adhesion on filling pipes, particle blockage, and leakage induced by clamped raw materials during the sealing process when processing such sauces. Standard equipment available in the market adopts simple metering structures, which deliver unstable performance during the transportation and measurement of viscous raw materials. Operators have to adjust parameters repeatedly to maintain regular production. Product switching takes a long time for debugging, and finished pouches come with a relatively high rate of leakage defects, which cannot comply with packaging criteria for long-term sauce storage used by supermarkets in Europe and America.

ROTYPACK under Shanghai Rutian Intelligent Equipment develops complete salad dressing packaging solutions for targeted application scenarios, compatible with multiple high-viscosity sauces including vinaigrette, mayonnaise, and fruit and vegetable sauces with solid particles. The machine is equipped with servo quantitative screw filling structures and anti-delamination mixing storage tanks to convey particle-containing sauces evenly, keeping measurement accuracy within ±0.15ml. All machine components that touch raw materials are made of 316 stainless steel, conforming to food hygiene audit standards for overseas markets.

The machine fits mainstream pouch styles for salad dressing, including spout stand-up pouches and three-side sealed composite bags. A double-layer water-cooled heat sealing structure avoids pouch leakage triggered by excess sauce trapped in sealing areas. Operators only need to input pouch parameters through the touch screen to adjust full-servo stations, and no disassembly of internal mechanical parts is required during sauce type switching. The machine can connect to matched modules for conveying, inkjet coding and inspection to complete integrated procedures of sauce filling, sealing and quality inspection.

The full set of salad dressing packaging machines is constructed for continuous mass production in sauce manufacturers. The equipment cuts sauce waste and manual labor spent on equipment debugging. Produced pouches retain stable sealing performance, and the machine system supports steady manufacturing for large-batch export orders of salad dressings.
